Company Services
American Medical Logistics, LLC offers medical licensing and
credentialing services that simplify and
accelerate these complicated and oppressive, but necessary processes.
As consumers of healthcare, we are
grateful that such demanding screening methods exist to ensure
that the physicians from whom we seek
medical care are trustworthy and competent.
DocBase
In order for any physician to practice medicine in a given state, the physician must be licensed in that state. In order for the physician to treat patients in a given hospital, the physician must hold hospital privileges at that hospital. And in order for a physician to get paid for services performed by Medicare, Medicaid, or an insurance company, the physician must be credentialed and enrolled in that network.
Obtaining license privileges, or enrollment is burdensome to doctors. The process includes the completion of an application and verifications from multiple primary sources. The application can range from just a few pages long to over twenty. Throughout a physician's career, it is important for the data necessary to complete such applications to be maintained, updated, and readily available. This is the purpose of DocBase. A doctor can establish a permanent DocBase profile by submitting minimal information to American Medical Logistics and having research completed by a DocBase analyst to gather specific and accurate data.
After this profile has been established, a physician may access it 24 hours a day online using his or her secured login and password. From any computer with internet access they can print the profile in a number of different ways, and for a variety of purposes.
FormLink
Throughout a physician's career, hundreds of applications will need to be completed in order for a physician to get licensed, credentialed, or enrolled. These applications are lengthy, redundant, and very time consuming. Since we would all rather have our doctors focused on more important things, FormLink gives time back to our doctors.
After a physician establishes a DocBase profile, information from
the DocBase database can be merged
onto any application the physician selects. The completed application,
along with specific instructions on
how to complete the licensing, credentialing, or enrollment process,
the necessary verification forms, and
a contacting list can all be printed out at the physician's home or
office. This will save the doctor several
hours of completing applications and forms, locating data,
and researching contact and cost
information on verifications. It simplifies and streamlines the
process and offers an exact blueprint to
eliminate confusion and headaches. Best of all, it makes licensing,
credentialing and enrollment easy and
yet, it conforms to the individual and specific process of any licensing
board, hospital, or insurance
network.
When used together, DocBase and FormLink will completely change the way a physician views licensing and credentialing.
